Charles joined the Stamper-Kurn group in the fall of 2019. Before joining the group, Charles earned his PhD at Yale, under the guidance of Professor Jack Harris, where he performed quantum cavity optomechanics experiments with superfluid helium, and built the levitated superfluid helium drop experiment.
