Zephy received his BSc degree in physics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2013. After that he came to Berkeley for graduate school and joined the Stamper-Kurn group. Since then he has been constantly asking himself why the kagome lattice is so frustrating. When he feels like taking a break from frustration, he goes to see a movie at BAMPFA .
