Malte received his bachelor degree in physics at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg in 2019. He joined the ultracold atomic physics group as a visiting researcher in 2019 and started as a grad student in 2020. In his free time Malte likes to go hiking or mountain biking in the hills around Berkeley.
