Mary Kate joined the Stamper-Kurn group in Summer 2021 to work on E6 and learn about cQED and tweezer arrays. She received a degree in physics from Lehigh University in 2021. At Lehigh, she worked on Ariel Sommer's ultracold Li experiment, which solidified her interest in AMO- the coolest branch of physics!

In her free time, Mary Kate enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, and talking about quantum computing.
